Naija Whot is a classic and engaging card game that provides entertainment for players of all ages. The game is easy to learn and play, making it accessible to everyone. The ultimate goal of the game is to finish all of your cards before your opponent, adding an exciting element of competition.

How to Play

Playing Naija Whot is not difficult at all. The game consists of two decks: the Market deck and the Played deck.

During your turn, you must play a card that matches either the image or the number of the card played by your opponent. For example, if your opponent plays a Triangle11 card, you can either play any Triangle card regardless of the number, or any card with the same number (11). If you do not have a matching card to play, you must pick a card from the Market deck.

The player who finishes their cards first is declared the winner.

In addition to the basic gameplay, Naija Whot includes special Action Cards:

• Hold On: This card, numbered 1, puts all players on hold, giving you an opportunity to play again.
• Pick Two: This card, numbered 2, allows the next player to either defend against it or pick two cards from the Market deck.
• Pick Three: This card, numbered 5, allows the next player to either defend against it or pick three cards from the Market deck.
• General Market: This card, numbered 14, requires all players except the one who played the card to pick one card from the Market deck.
• Suspension: This card, numbered 8, suspends the next player, skipping their turn.
• Crown: This card, numbered 20, allows you to request any card of your choice from your opponent.

Note that the above configuration is the default setting, which can be customized to suit your preference.

In Tournament mode, when a game ends, the cards are counted and the player with the highest number of cards is eliminated.

Key Features

• QuickPlay mode: Play against one artificial opponent in our traditional game style.
• Tournament mode: Compete against three artificial opponents (Wazobia) in a tournament setting.
• Multiplayer mode: Play with a friend either online or offline. Please note that this mode only supports two players.
• Defence: You can now defend against special cards by enabling this feature in the settings.
• Continuous play: This feature is exclusive to Tournament mode. You can choose whether the game continues even if you lose by enabling it in the settings.

In addition to these features, Naija Whot allows you to customize your game according to your preferences:

• You can turn on/off any or all of the special cards (pick two, pick three, general market, hold on, suspension, Whot) by accessing the game settings.
• You can enable or disable the game's anthem according to your preference.
• You have the option to reset scores and coins when needed.
• You can turn avatars (images) on or off as desired.
• The game now includes French language support, automatically detecting your device's default language and switching between English and French accordingly.
